SO tired without caffeine

Once upon a time I drank 4-shot lattes every morning. I have now been off ALL caffeine for about 2.5 months and find it so hard to get through every day. I have absolutely no energy or motivation to do anything (although I acknowledge that this could also be part of my depression). Has anyone else h...

Re: Not new to anxiety/program,back to finish this time!

Hi Kimberly,

Since about 2008, I too have started the program and then stopped (a couple of times) after week 3 or 4 but this time I am determined to follow through until the end. How far into it are you now? I am on week 4.

Re: I m not new, I am returning

Hello Maggie, I am so sorry to hear about your setback. I am going through the same thing right now....frozen with fear about every little thing. I also have doggies that I have to force myself to walk and am having a hard time just functioning. Please know that, while you may not have your family s...

Re: Hello to all. I am New :)

Welcome, Michelle. I think you will find this program extremely helpful as long as you follow it as instructed. It has been one of my main sources of help and comfort when dealing with anxious episodes.

Re: Trintellix

Thank you so much for replying, Coach Chris. I went to see my doctor again yesterday and we decided this new medication (Trintellix) is not the right fit for me as it is primarily for depression and I primarily have anxiety. My "what if" thinking has come back FULL FORCE...I find myself thinking and...

Re: Trintellix

I'd almost forgotten how terrible anxiety is...but today I was reminded. I sit here at my desk at work staring around the room...in such a fog that I can't seem to accomplish even the smallest tasks. I've cried so much in the last day that my right nostril is clogged and this is just adding to my an...

Re: Does Anyone Have Side Effects From Meds They Just Hate!

I've been on meds for anxiety and depression for about 16 years and my two main side effects have been (1) fatigue and (2) loss of libido. I've forgotten what it feels like to wake up rested and have energy to take on the day. When I lived alone, I'd literally sleep until noon, get up to put a load ...

Trintellix

Hi All, My debilitating anxiety has been well controlled on Lexapro for years now; however, my depression has not. At 50mg/day of Lexapro + 2mg/day of Abilify, my doctor told me I should be feeling better than I do so she's switching me to Trintellix and increasing my Abilify. I am about half way th...

Re: Years of Depression

Hi CherieT,
I'm really glad to hear the program is working for you. I've also found that when I really buckle down and focus on the steps, it does really fill you with hope that feeling better is possible. I really need to take the time to do this myself. I've been slacking on using my tools...
