I do not know if I had full form of IBS but I did have lots of stomache pain and diarhea prior to buying Lucinda's program and joining a cbt group that used the TEA form from the book by Obitz and my stomache problems disappeared with my anxiety. Might have been a coincidence but I'm not sure?

Lucie I think accupuncture is worth a try but I would join a cbt group or read the book called Been There, Done That? Do This! by Sam Obitz and have him start countering your thoughts in a TEA form every morning. It's a real simple exercise once you get the hang of it and the book is short and easy ...

Hi Chris I'm glad my note was encouraging. After I finished Lucinda's program I joined a cbt program based on the TEA form exercise in Sam Obitz's cbt book. It's a simple thought countering exercise where you find the errors in your thoughts that cause your anxiety and then fix the thought to be mor...

I used to have this problem before I learned to control my anxiety so I assume it was my thoughts in regards to my body's reaction to the heat that caused my problems. I'll still get the sensations but I quickly counter the thoughts in a tea form and always feel fine now.

Hi Lynne, CBT stands for cognitive behavioral training and that is what Lucinda's program is loosely based on. TEA forms are the main and imo most helpful thought countering exercise in CBT. They teach you how to find the errors in your thinking that cause anxiety and then how to replace those thoug...

P.S. I have not read the Burns book but it is recommended as an additional resource in the back of Obitz's book.

I read and loved this book in the cbt group I joined after I did Lucinda's program and the TEA forms really are simple and effective and helped me get over the top of my anxiety probs. I liked the tone and simplicity of the book too, the author was a long time sufferer of anxiety like Lucinda and wa...

I bought Lucinda's program a little over five years ago and then joined a CBT group based on the TEA form exercise in Sam Obitz's book that you mentioned Lilchrissy. I have been completely med free for over four years now and feeling better and better all the time. I don't even have to do my TEA for...
