Re: Starting Over

I went through the program 8 years ago, and have just started it over again. I have also gone through some huge life changes in the last year, divorce after 15 years and death of a parent. I had such bad panic attacks that came rushing back, that I couldn't even attend the funeral, which made me fee...

Re: hypoglycemia and anxiety disorder a connection ?? inp

The toughest part for me is trying to decide if it's just my blood sugar or a panic attack. I finished the program about 5 years ago and have been good until about a month ago. A lot of life changes, and started with some panic attacks again. But, I am also seeing that the problems with my blood sug...

Re: Weird things that cause me anxiety..help?

I had the same problem with the shower. The thing that helped me a lot was to put a radio in the shower or in the bathroom. It was enough to distract my thoughts so I could start to enjoy my morning shower again. For me, it was too much time to think and that got me in trouble.

Hope that helps.

I did have my first acupuncture appt. yesterday and things seem to be going well today so far...that and a different type of chiro care - gentle manipulation instead of the forced cracking and popp...

Just an update... MRI showed some arthritis, of course, and a very slight bone spur near one of my discs. Ortho said he has the same exact condition, and surgery is not an option. Just expect it to return from time to time and suffer through it. I was greatful that there were no herniations or anyth...

It would be really great to hear from someone that's overcome their pain. :) I was thrown from a horse about 4 years ago and landed on my head. This sprained my neck and upper back, but nothing was said about my lower back. Approx. 6 months ago, I felt pain shoot up by back while riding, then nothin...

I am having a really hard time with hypoglycemia symptoms. The worst part is that they make me think I'm relapsing into panic again. (I finished the program in early 2006 and have been pretty-much ok until now.) I've had shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness, etc. Anyone have any ideas on how to co...
