Congratulations on starting Law School. It's great that you've learned so much about your anxiety. I think it is common to have panic attack "relapses" from time to time, but it sounds like you are moving in the right direction. From time to time I have panic attacks at night. I used to fear them te...

I've gone through it, and have recovered probably 90%. A few things have helped me. I have realized that certain things tend to irritate my stomach (ie, soda). Also, I try to time my meals when I know I am going to be in a quiet place. For example, I don't eat a big lunch and go right into a meeting...

Marie, Your english is great. I would like to recommend a book by Lee Baer "The Imp of the Mind" that helped me deal with my scary thoughts. You are not alone. I attended an Obessive Compulsive Foundation conference in Boston this summer. The newest research seems to suggest that the more you try to...

HI Bella, You are definitely not alone. This was my number one fear for a number of years. I have gotten a lot better. Being on a plane is sometime stressful (not able to get up to use the restroom during takeoff and landing and other parts of the flight). I even had some stress during meetings ( I ...

I love Claire Weakes. When I was having panic attacks in the middle of the night, her book really helped me. She provided me with tools that I still use.

You are not alone. I know it's been several days since your last post. I hope you are feeling better. People like us with anxiety are very creative by nature. I think that is why we are always asking ourselves "what if...?" Try to use that question to your benefit. What if I do feel better? What if ...

Trin, I'd like to recommend a great book that discusses dealing with obsessive thoughts: The Imp of The Mind by Dr. Lee Baer. He says the more you try to force a thought out of your mind, the stronger and scarier it becomes. One treatment that is used for OCD scary thoughts is to say the scary thoug...
