Hi - I have found OCD to be very exhausting - so much so, that sometimes I can't do anything except sit and Obsess. My problem is more witht Obsessive Thoughts than the Compulsions, also. I'm so impressed that you work 8 hours a day! I only work part-time, and sometimes that is very difficult. It is...

Thanks for the info. I have been trying to start the tapering process, but the doctor I have now is kind of negative about me doing it. I am on 150mg right now. It seems like whenever I start talking about weaning off he starts throwing stuff at me about why not too. I have been on it for a little o...

Don't sweat it :) Just kidding, couldn't resist. Sometimes a good laugh helps relieve stress. Last year at this time I was going through a major anxiety attack, GAD and I was sweating on the bottoms of my feet and my palms. It was so weired because at 57 years old, I had NEVER in my entire life expe...

GaleD, Thanks for the response. I agree that often we probably apologize needlessly because no one even registers what we think we've done wrong. I am practicing so hard this week trying not to have any expectations of anyone. It's interesting and has definitely taken a load off my shoulders to a de...

I once had a friend Always so close, we would blend. She never let me down, always cheered me up. Made sure I was never alone, my honor she would defend. She encouraged me, made me laugh, fixed me pink Jello and called it, a giraffe. Then One she was gone:( Just suddenly disappeared! And She seemed ...

I agree, too. I have been taking natural progesterone for anxiety related to premenopausal symptoms - I am 47. I am wondering if I can really work with the anxiety feelings and not have them escalate that I can stop taking the hormones. Even thought they are "natural" there are still health risks in...
