Re: Session 7 First attempts at assertiveness. Help

Yes, and old post, but that's where I want to be. 'I' is the key word (Is it actually a word?? haha) But without arguing, just stating how 'I' feel 'I' think

Re: Dealing With Anger From The Past

This has been an eye opener. Lucinda's point about bringing people home who have caused you soo much grief and the anger u hold on to. By going over and over it in my mind was keeping me anxious and depressed. They don't think or care about me. As from today, I no longer bring them home :D Poida

Re: Starting Over

Hi Mandi, I know how you feel. I have anxiety depression as a result. I'm not depressed 100% of the time thankfully. I got to level 4 last time e and stopped. My biggest fear was, I'd get to the end of the program with some improvement but not 'on the otherside' as someone recovered. But I'm back ag...

Re: This is the Session I keep getting stuck on!

I know your post was a while ago. I hope you made the progress you were after. I'm using an illustration for myself. The negative thoughts are on auto pilot. We need to turn off the auto pilot. How? With positive self talk. :)

Re: Positive Self Talk, a New Routine

Love these threads. The original post was great. Think at the end of the day, what went wrong? Thats the auto pilo. Think of the positives. Our negative thinking is automatic. Meditating on the positives of our day will circumvent the auto pilot.

Yes, I understand exactly where you're coming from. Like everything, it takes practice and practice. Did I mention practice??
I know this is an old thread. But its reinforcing it into my mind too :D

Re: Ask Coach Chris

Gday Chris, Ive been working at this course for 4 weeks. I have been feeling better and enjoying the course. I had a slight disagreement here (at home) and was fairly annoyed. I feel like I went back a couple of steps and not feeling so relaxed/positive. Whats the best way to get my mind back to whe...

Re: Progress

G'day Chris, I'm at session 4. Really enjoying it. I'm working hard at positive thinking and 'shoulds'. It takes work, huh? But a life time of anxiety and depression, is going to take work to over come.
Thankyou for responding to my post.

Re: Has the program changed any over the years?

I did the program to session 4, before I quit in about 2014. (my loss) Anxiety and depression continued. I gave the CDs/booklet to someone else. My anxiety and depression continued on and on. I realised it wasnt fair on my wife. Finally, I looked online to get the course (CDs and booklet) again. Of ...
