Re: Anticipatory anxiety-Its a bummer.

Hi Randy, I don't actually have any words of experience for you, but I do empathize. I also have Anticipatory Anxiety, but it works differently for me. Once I'm where I need to be, I'm able to immerse myself in the situation with minimal anxiety. Mine comes to me when I think of going to something. ...

Re: Actually Learning Something Useful

Good news - I heard back from my daughter after leaving her a message stating that I needed to amend my first message to her because I realized that it was not a loving message. She called me and we apologized to one another. She stated that it was a small blip in our otherwise caring relationship. ...

Actually Learning Something Useful

I can't believe it. I'm finally learning very useful techniques. I am part of a very volatile family - actually, I'm the mom. I left my grown daughter a message that I did not find offensive. She called me back the next day and screamed at me. I was very upset. However, after going over Step 1 throu...

Re: Lucinda Barretts - "Truth Be Told"

Sorry folks, on my first post I wrote Lucinda's last name incorrectly. However, I decided not to beat myself up because I am now on Session 4. If your going to make a mistake, it's best to make the "granddaddy" of them all.

Thanks, gerrithegirl

Multiple Personality Disorder

Hi everyone, Can anyone relate to having mpd. It is a very challenging position to be in. I have accepted the diagnosis which I received about 10 years ago, but it has been a hard road. I have a few people inside, and it is a challenge sometime trying to keep them in check. I feel like I'm taking a ...

Lucinda Bassett's - "Truth Be Told"

I read Lucinda's book entitled - "Truth Be Told". Lucinda is one of the bravest women I know. She has had so many trials in her life, and has found the courage and determination to go forward. I was so saddened to hear of the death of her beloved husband, David, and after that the loss of her mother...
