I finished the program and am off my medication. One of things I've noticed is that a lot of my old friendships are ending. I don't know if this is to be expected, but basically I've had it with a lot of people. I've been deleting friends on Facebook, not returning calls, and telling people that I'm...

I started having panic attacks when I was 16 or so and now I'm 34. I've been on medication for a decade and a half and have consumed roughly 15,000 Prozac tablets. That all came to an end last week as I finished the program. I'm no longer anxious, perfectionistic and unrealistic about life. I still ...

I've been on Prozac for 15 years, at 80 mg a day. I've been going through Lucinda's program, listening to other CBT programs and at the same time I've been seeing a psychiatrist for two years. I've felt better than ever since the program. I've changed how I think about perfectionism, what it means t...

Hey, all. I've been through the program and my anxiety is lowering. My problem is that I'll be going along in my life fine, whistling a happy tune, then I'll have a negative thought like, "People are going to know I'm a fraud" or "I'm going to disappoint everyone" and I feel like a knife goes from m...

There is power in music. http://www.lyrics.com/index.ph...-lyrics-breathe-2-am The lyrics are posted right next to the video. The fact that the song is titled "Breathe" and the line about getting it all down on paper makes me think it's a musical form of cognitive behavioral therapy. This song makes...

I have an English degree and a Master's Degree in Creative writing. By all accounts, I'm a smart, educated guy. And yet something keeps telling me that I'm only worth $5 an hour. The jobs I've had in my life have been either pretty menial, or paid extremely well (like $250 for forty minutes of work)...

I suppose it's an odd question, but it's probably the biggest one I have. I guess I want to be better at everything, but at least I know now that's an unrealistic expectation. My sister has traveled more, my friends are better musicians, other friends are wealthier, smarter, etc., etc. I guess my qu...

Well, it has multiple uses. If you're taking it for that sort of thing, I wouldn't imagine the dose would be high enough to kill anxiety, but I really have no idea what I'm talking about.

All I know is that it works wonders for me. :)

Really? Interesting. Are you taking one every day for anxiety?
